Dr. Jeff Derevensky is a child psychologist, and an international thought leader in gambling, adolescence and behavioural addictions.


His research and expertise have informed and influenced government policy change.

He is Chair and James McGill Professor in the Faculty of Education at McGill University and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry.


He is also the Director of the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours, and a father.
