Dr. Cristine Legare is a professor of psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and a researcher, whose work has appeared in more than 100 scientific journals.

She is director of the Centres for Applied Cognitive Science.


One area of her research focuses on the role of the mind in facilitating learning, creating and imparting culture.


Dr. Legare’ areas of expertise include international education, cognitive science and global public health.


She is also a mom.
