The mission of the Hillsboro Historical Society is to preserve, collect and protect the history of the Hillsboro, Kingston, and Lake Valley regions of southern New Mexico.


The Hillsboro Historical Society owns and manages the Black Range Museum and the old Sierra County Courthouse and Jail Site in Hillsboro, NM.


We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2008.
