Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany is wrapping up her series of finding summertime rhythms to help you and your family endure less chaos and more enjoyment with one another while being able to unpack the word of God during everyday routines. This week Bethany is discussing rhythms of contributions and expectations of your children.

Do you find chaos unravels in your homes during the summer? There are more dishes in the sink, towels lying around, and outside toys brought indoors. Bethany discusses the importance of establishing rhythms of expectation and contribution from our children to make our households operate more smoothly. She defines the difference and provides concrete examples of helping our children understand their role in daily household tasks.

Bethany helps listeners bring gospel conversations to life by helping children understand their role in the family and loving one another through contribution. We are discussing how our individual actions play a role in the betterment of family life.

When we assist our children by building relationship skills and giving them autonomy in decision-making skills on their contributions, it helps us become shepherds guiding our children to the Lord.
