67. When the Practical Meets Jesus: Sibling Rivarly

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany is continuing the series Where Practical Meets Jesus, where we can look at moments in motherhood through the lens of the Gospel. This week, Bethany is visiting a prominent place where we all struggle in motherhood: sibling rivalry. 

 

Sibling rivalry is a place that can cause frustration, anger, and sin. Bethany is continuing to plug in the 5 truths and discusses how to apply and hold them in these moments with our children. 

 

We are shepherding a soul that needs a savior. We remember that even during times of rivalry.  Ask for God’s wisdom. Use this time to ask God for a clear vision of what your children need. Seek God for eyes to see and engage in those places.  Be consistent. Pray, pray for your children, and pray to see your children through God’s lens. Speak words of life to your children.
