We're back again with another movie-themed podcast, this one in which we discussĀ  our favorite Movies Sequels of all time. Movies are a subject we're pretty passionate about so these kinds of discussions are usually pretty easy to have. Its the original Podcast crew today, Linda Ashbook, RJ Carnesi and Larry Lloyd reuniting (it has been a long time since our Will Ferrell movies discussion) to give you our thoughts about movie sequels.

We open up our lists at the 2:30 mark but it only takes about two minutes for a good laugh to emerge thanks to the ever funny Linda Ashbrook (she's our show's Lucille Ball). We also go off on the tangent of "what is a movie sequel" a couple of times. For example, when a filmmaker makes one long film that gets separated into two features, for whatever reason, is the second film really a sequel??? Deep philosophical discussions are needed to address questions like this!

Also discussed a few times is how RJ is just not a fan of big tent-pole type movie properties (like Avengers and Harry Potter). He likes what he likes! We did find at the 22:35 mark that he didn't like the Solo installment of the Star Wars franchise at all. We get another funny, if somewhat dark, story courtesy of Linda at 26:40. RJ also spills the beans about just when this was recorded around 27:45. Major, and extraordinarily sad event was unfurling before our eyes as we sat down to record this one. We also talked about a trip to Italy we were planning at the time, a trip since blown up by Coronavirus.

We wrap up by talking about a few movies that didn't make our list, discussing at length how Samwise Gamgee would have made a MUCH better ring bearer that Fredo/Frodo!
