How did Christians turn on a dime? Years ago, and not many years ago, people were firm in their beliefs. They had integrity. The country was founded on the belief of God. Patriotism was something that everybody took for granted, because every American was supposed to be a red blooded American. And even if you weren't going to church every single Sunday, you still held your beliefs. This Christian Nation believed in God. But in the course of not so many years we have gone from a god-fearing God loving Nation into a nation of abomination.
