This week on the show I welcome Director/Producer Hilton Ariel Ruiz, creator of the immensely popular webseries and upcoming comic "Zombie with a Shotgun". Hilton started making films at an early age, influenced by the indie filmmakers in the early 90's. He talks about the industry change from digital to film and how it affected all fimmakers including himself, during the late 90's. After making many different creative fiction and documentary films, Hilton moved his focus to the horror genre, most notably with his popular "Zombie with a Shotgun" webseries. The series became a cult hit in the horror community and now Hitlon is close to releasing the upcoming comic and kickstarter for a feature film adaptation. I really enjoyed my time interviewing Mr. Ruiz, he has an extensive and interesting background in filmmaking with over 20 films on his resume and provided some great insights on the industry. If you're a fan of indie films, zombie/horror movies then you'll be sure to enjoy this episode. You can find the show on soundcloud, iTunes, and Stitcher. Find me on twitter @mywtfshow. As always, thank you for the click and listen :).
