Remember the days when we were told that we shouldn't sit so close to the television, or else we would end up with square eyes? Simpler times, weren't they? Now, we spend far more time in front of screens that are much closer to our eyes than TVs ever were. And in one way or another, we're addicted to screens, especially our phones - and we feel a great sense of guilt about it. So, what shall we do about screen time?
Enter Sydney comedian Lauren Bonner, who joined me to chat about her experience with screens. Together we discussed the perils of screen addiction, the ways in which phones affect mental health, and whether there are actually ways we can reduce screen time.
