Director Todd Robinson joins host Kurt Caceres in a two-part series discussing everything from starting out as a director in Hollywood, to the 20 year undertaking to finally complete his film, The Last Full Measure.  He won an Emmy for the documentary titled, The legend of Billy the Kid.  How he started writing episodic television and the long process of rejections until Ridley Scott decided to green light and direct Todd's script, White Squall.  He gives his opinion on winning awards in Hollywood and receiving validation.  The screenplay is the blueprint, but the editing room is where you really make the film.  Real actors are always walking the razor of fear and vulnerability without worrying about falling off the fence post.  They trust the director.
