Brian Walker is the man behind the band "A Day Without Love," he's a community organizer, and founder of the Philadelphia DIY Collaborative Facebook Group, which consists of nearly 8,000 members sharing promotional tools, music, and stories. In our talk we went through Brian's upbringing and the effect it's had on his songwriting and identity, we covered a bit about race in America and his experience as a black emo/indie songwriter, and we touched on outrage culture, identity politics, and a bunch of other hot topics focused on political polarization. Enjoy! Check out his new album "Diary" here: www.adaywithoutlove.com/
