Shadi Hamid is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a contributing editor at The Atlantic. He is also the author of Islamic Exceptionalism: How the Struggle Over Islam Is Reshaping The World and the co-editor of Rethinking Political Islam. He's been featured on podcasts with Sam Harris, Robert Wright, Gad Saad, and many more.
