EPISODE 82:

HALFWAY TO HALLOWEEN

AVAILABLE

Horror authors T. Fox Dunham and Phil Thomas return triumphant after a sabbatical with episode 82: Halfway to Halloween. Only six months to go until Halloween, and people celebrate the halfway mark with parties, dressing in costume and scary movies. The hosts discuss some movies and series then go on to talk about the comeback of exorcism. There’s even an online school that trains exorcists for the low price of $3,000! They discuss several famous cases of demon possession including the true story behind the movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Fox talks about a short horror film he enjoyed, Dan Helsing: Demon Warrior, from writer/director Miah Allsman. The production company could use some financial love to produce a longer version of this clever scary comedy. Please support indie writing and filmmaking! That’s whom the hosts fight for. English folksinger, David Walton, narrates a new true ghost story from Paranormal author Kerri Thomas, author of The Haunting of a Family. A ghost soldier with crutches haunts a nursing home in South Carolina that used to be a hospital during the American Civil War. To close the show, Fox interviews Rick Gamoneda, lead guitarist of Katrina Weidman’s band, Away From 30. Katrina, famed ghost hunter from the shows Paranormal State and Paranormal Lockdown, was on the show last October. The hosts play the band’s new release, The Forgotten. Oh, and more Clown News! Come get your summer spooky from Philadelphia’s home for horror, What Are You Afraid Of? Horror & Paranormal Show.
