We revisit a dramatic event from the summer of 2003 when a then-college student named Casey Holtz saved a youngster (a complete stranger) from drowning in Lake Michigan. We also hear briefly from Holtz in the present-day. He is Dr. Casey Holtz, a clinical psychologist based in Milwaukee. We also hear from Seth Weidman, head swimming and diving coach at Carthage College, who performed a similar feat last summer at roughly the safe place at the Kenosha lakefront.
