Week 1: Whiskey Acres Bourbon Slush – perfect for a party!

Ingredients:

9 cups water, divided3 black tea bags2 cups sugar2 cans of frozen lemonade concentrate1 can of frozen orange juice concentrate2 cups of Whiskey Acres BourbonGinger Ale for a splash to finish

How to make:

In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to boil. Add tea bags and allow to seep for 10 minutes. Discard teabags. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved. In large container, combine tea/sugar mixture, lemon and orange juice concentrates, water and bourbon.Pour into a flat Tupperware container and freeze for 4-6 hours, or overnight if possible.Serve using an ice cream scoop.  Top with a splash of ginger ale.

Week 2: Whiskey Acres Old Fashioned

Lightly cover bottom of glass with simple syrupAdd 6-7 dashes of bittersTwist in the orange sliceStir wellAdd iceAdd 1.5 oz of Whiskey Acres Straight BourbonAdd brandied cherry (and a tsp of juice if you’d like it a bit sweeter)Stir for several seconds until the outside of the glass gets cold ENJOY!

Week 3: Whiskey Acres Holiday Mule

Fill glass with iceAdd 1.5 oz of Whiskey Acres Straight BourbonAdd 6 oz of windmill Ginger Brew Spiced Cranberry Ginger Beer (locally made in Geneva)StirGarnish with a lime sliceENJOY!

Week 4: Whiskey Acres Apple of My Rye

Simmer apple cider with mulling spices – strain out spices after 20 minutes (you can prep this step ahead of time). Pour 5 oz. of warm, fresh mulled apple cider into a mug.Add 1.5 oz. of Whiskey Acres Straight Rye Whiskey.Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
