The Fordham Rams defeated Lehigh 48-27 to give them a 7-1 record on the year, 3-0 in the Patriot League. QB Michael Nebrich threw for 292 yards and a touchdown, but the story of the day was freshman running back Chase Edmonds. Edmonds rushed for almost 200 yards and 5 touchdowns, tying a Fordham and Patriot League record. He almost added a 95-yard kick return to his day, but that was called back by a penalty. Still, the Fordham offense put up over 580 yards and the defense limited Lehigh to just 127 yards to the air. Fordham’s next matchup comes against Patriot League rival Colgate, November 1, at Jack Coffey Field, with coverage beginning at 12:50 only on 90.7 FM, wfuv.org and wfuvsports.org
After the victory, Drew Casey had the chance to catch up with head coach Joe Moorhead after the victory. To listen to the interview and the entire postgame, please click the link below or download on iTunes.
