Ep. 86

Dustin Meisinger returns to continue our breakdown of movies set in 2019; this week is the grandaddy of them all: Blade Runner (1982).

We talk about their trench coats and flying cars, we discuss the impracticalities of pyramidal skyscrapers, and we also try to decode the blurred line between human and robot (by asking a lot of questions about robot genitals). Also we didn't watch 2049, so please ignore our ignorance.

CW: This episode involves discussions of consent & sexual assault, because Blade Runner is a film made in the 80's.
