Between 2001 and 2011 music group Gráda was a highlight of the traditional Irish music scene.

Now they're reuniting with a nine-date tour across New Zealand.

The tour will begin in Wellington before the group head all over the country.

With members from both Ireland and New Zealand, Gráda spent much of their time touring internationally, performing in over 1000 cities in 30 countries over the course of a decade.

Through their US Label Compass Records, the band sold over 50 thousand albums.

Gerry Paul, Andrew Laking, Nicola Joyce, Alan Doherty, and Tola Custy make up the group's current form.

They join Nick Mills in the studio.
