Two current legal changes will soon impact the lives of our LGBTI communities - and people living with HIV.
Michael catches up with Fitzroy Legal's Paul Kidd to discuss the Berejiklian NSW government altering consent laws. The law may better protect those assaulted who are unable to clearly rebuke consent. However, the 'communicative model of consent' may impact people who consent with non-verbal communication - especially those in kink and BDSM communities.
Later, Michael discusses how people living with HIV will be impacted by forced testing requirements for anyone found spitting at or biting NSW Police with Nic Holas from the Institute of Many.
