Join Chris as he analyzes & reviews (with FULL SPOILERS) Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - the 2014 science fiction film sequel starring the great Andy Serkis & directed by Matt Reeves.

This is the middle chapter of the rebooted Caesar trilogy. The 2nd entries in most trilogies are usually considered to be the best of their respective franchises - does that apply to Dawn?

We join Caesar in his struggle to avoid War in a time of inevitable desperation. We've got Andy Serkis with a deeply nuanced performance, stunning VFX & a great Shakespearean setup for the villain.

Our new independent ape community deals with a dramatic descension as Koba struggles with his tortured past & we witness the true ramifications of the simian flu. Koba & Caesar are forced to battle for the future of the apes ideology.

Finally, we get our epic action scenes, with humans versus machine gun-wielding Apes.. on horses! We endure the true nature of war as the final showdown for both worlds sets us up for a truly awesome finale.

Join Chris en route to 2017's War for the Planet of the Apes!
