In this episode, we are discussing two more weird stories from Mammoth Cave. First, we take a look at Dr. John Croghan, who theorized that the clean air in Mammoth cave would cure his patients of tuberculosis. He built a wing within the cave for them to stay as part of an experimental treatment.
Then we will be discussing the Mammoth cave mummy, which was a pre-columbian mummy discovered within the cave who was placed in a glass encasement and began to mold. Experts rallied to rescue the remains, and identified the source of the mold.
