śrī-parīkṣid uvāca
śrīmad-gopāla-devas tac
chrutvā sambhrānti-yantritaḥ
jātāntas-tāpataḥ śuṣyan-
mukhābjaḥ śaṅkayākulaḥ
TRANSLATION
Śrī Parīkṣit said: Having heard all this, the blessed Lord Gopāla felt overwrought with worry for His devotees. Scorching anxiety dried up His lotus face. He was filled with dread.
