Episode 4 welcomes Dr Julian Fennessy, co-founder and co-director of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) – the leader in supporting a sustainable future for giraffe in the wild.  GCF has completed amazing work in recent decades, not only preserving giraffe populations, but researching the different subspecies and why they are important. We discuss the threats facing giraffe today, the role they play in their habitat, and what makes them so unique. Julian explains GCF’s projects on the ground and what it takes to work in his field of conservation today. A fun, engaging chat full of laughter (from the host!) and interesting facts about the long necked, evolutionary wonders that are giraffe!
