The book is composed of a series of 30 articles that grew out of the author’s quest to find a way to live with being an open empath. The articles are divided into three categories:

AWARENESS ARTICLESMEAUNDERINGSANOMALIES

The “Awareness” articles introduce concepts that the author learned and has found invaluable in her own life and growth. The other articles are to share some of the experiences that she had throughout her life, that may “ring a bell” for others. And, as is true with everyone, perspective is everything and the book may help others whose perspectives are more closely related to mine.

Although the book is not an autobiography, it does include some of the author’s personal experiences in the hope that the reader may find something that relates to their own life experiences. The book is about life experiences that lead the author to a mentor, a counselor, and to Alaska.

The author had a near death experience (NDE) and hopes that people who have also had near death experiences will find the book comforting, interesting, and maybe helpful in finding ways to incorporate the many changes an NDE causes. She also believes it will appeal to people who are having difficulties in their relationships or finding dissatisfaction in their lives.
