CHARACTERS:

Princess Lynn the protagonist
King Felix
Madame B – Princess Lynn’s teacher of magic
Jessie – Princess Lynn’s Lady-in-waiting and close friend
Lucy, a magical crow

This story takes place in a land of kingdoms where magic is both good and bad. One kingdom stands out from all of the others, Magique. It is the oldest and most mysterious of the five kingdoms.

Ages ago, the king of Magique, King Felix, fell in love with a powerful witch, but she didn’t return his affections and was in love with another. In his rage the King sent his army to get her but she fought back and perished in the battle. All that remained of her within the wreckage of the battle was a staff and a crying infant with violet eyes.

The soldiers took both the infant girl and the staff back to King Felix. Instead of a queen he was given a princess. He kept her a secret from the rest of the world and raised her as his own child, Princess Lynn. The child did not know the truth about her birth mother and the king kept from her that she had inherited strong magic and if she were to leave the castle, she would be hunted.

This is Princess Lynn’s story.
