(Camland Podcast) IWantClips sued by shareholder – Femdom video sales site IWantClips, still recovering from self-inflicted crises involving model information security breaches, has now found itself involved in a lawsuit. IWantClips is claiming this lawsuit is frivolous and claims that successful businesses attract frivolous lawsuits.

Site Of The Week

IWantClips – Our site of the week is IWantClips because of their involvement in an active lawsuit involving shareholders that they did not want the public to be aware of due to their lack of an announcement, and for serving a performer with a cease and desist notice for making performers aware of the lawsuit. Performers have the right to know about things happening behind the scenes at a company, and this includes any active lawsuits that could potentially impact performers. While each site is ultimately left to their own devices when it comes to making announcements about lawsuits and legal issues, it was very unfortunate to see such a serious lawsuit not being touched on until it was outed by a performer. IWantClips has proven a pattern of lack of interest in communicating publicly with models when the same performer who posted about the lawsuit also posted about clip artists private information being leaked.

Model Tip of the Week

Staying informed about things happening in the industry can help you better prepare for problems that may arise and impact your earnings and reputation as a performer. Do your due diligence for sites that you decide to sign up for, ask opinions from fellow industry members, and remember that it’s important to not put all of your eggs into one basket!
