Brett Owens: The Serial SaaS Psycho Entrepreneur

The SaaS entrepreneur and self-proclaimed psycho, Brett Owens, joined us for a 2-part episode about his origins as an entrepreneur, the lessons learned in his numerous SaaS startups, and why he prefers self-funding over seeking out investors. In our first episode, we lean more into his history and the rise and exit from his various companies. Brett was on the pathway to corporate success with an engineering degree from Cornell, a desirable job, and plenty of upward potential. Only one problem: HE HATED IT!

Brett shares the awkwardness of telling his family about going into business for himself (during the Great Recession), the various startups he’s been a part of, why investing $300K in a business and walking away with $95K is a win in his book, and so much more!
