Are the midterm winds shifting against the GOP?

Joshua Holland kicks off this week's show talking about how after dodging it for almost three years, the 'rona finally caught up with him--and explains how our semi-official policy of pretending the pandemic is over is helping to spread the disease.

Then we're joined by Cliff Schecter, host of The Takedown, to talk about how public opinion polls are shifting toward the Democrats as a result of the Trump Supreme Court striking down Roe. It's looking increasingly possible for Dems to hold onto the House and perhaps expand their Senate majority if they have the will to fight for it, but it's not clear that the party's current leadership share's the Democratic base's sense of alarm.
