Welcome to We Two Ours One! We are Namita and Sirpy - polar opposites in all forms possible. We love watching movies and TV shows together across languages. In this podcast, we attempt to discuss, review and analyze whatever we watch. It is and will be mostly random. But when has that stopped anybody, eh?

Contact (1997): Movie Review

August 31, 2021 02:48 - 24 minutes - 37.6 MB

In this episode, we review Contact (1997) starring Jodie Foster and Matthew Mcalavulva and directed by Robert Zemeckis. Outside of the fact that we truly enjoyed an old chestnut, we also do a one-liner review of Mimi (2021) and of course a preview of the unfortunate Navarasa (2021). The discussion veers into nerd territory to the utter chagrin of one of the speakers. Minor blip.

Malik (2021): Movie Review

August 10, 2021 02:35 - 23 minutes - 32.1 MB

In this episode, we review Malik (2021), a Malayalam movie starring Fahaadh Faasil, Nimisha Sajiyan and directed by Madhu Narayanan. We kind of go off ranting, while also saying Ram Gopal Varma and Mani Ratnam in the same breath. While conveniently spouting travesty, we also attempt pronouncing the words Malayalam and Sherni.

Sarpatta Parambarai (2021): Movie Review

August 02, 2021 19:42 - 38 minutes - 56.7 MB

In this episode, we talk about Sarpattai Parambarai (2021); or should I say, gush? Still reeling from the sheer awesomeness, we try to put words and sentences to feelings, most of them going astray in blind happiness. We also try to throw offhand references to other movies of the same ilk - Chak De India!, Lagaan and Badhri - more for comic relief than anything else. Elsewhere, Sirpy tries to show off his Hollywood knowledge and the apparent fanboyism for Hugh Jackman (reasons undisclosed).

The Fear Street Trilogy (2021): Movie Review

July 28, 2021 11:31 - 30 minutes - 34 MB

In this episode, we dissect and understand why we liked and why you should watch the Fear Street Trilogy right away. The discussion also veers into an introduction into our lives, our childhoods and for some reason, an apartment in Bengaluru.
