Emily and Danita are in interview mode this week as they chat with Stacey Tenenbaum, the director of PIPE DREAMS, a documentary that follows five young organists as they compete in Canada’s prestigious International Organ Competition (or the CIOC) in Montreal. In anticipation of the film’s upcoming world premiere at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, we ask Stacey about the technical challenges of making a film about multiple subjects, subjectivity in documentary, and, most importantly, why we should all eat bananas when we are anxious.
We Really Like Her! is produced by Danita Steinberg and Emily Gagne, edited by Sonya Suraci, with a theme song by Emily Milling.
