In this weeks We Need To Talk About... Movies Podcast, we need to talk about the Hong Kong crime thriller Internal Affairs, and its gritty Hollywood remake The Departed.

Two films for the price of one... well, sort of! 

Part of a trilogy of films from Hong Kong directors Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, Infernal Affairs 2002) starring Andy Lau, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung and Eric Tsang tells the intricate and tense story of triads and police using moles to out wit each other.

The Departed (2006) was the violent remake and the film which finally won director Martin Scorsese his first best director Oscar, and see's Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio going undercover in each others territory. With noteworthy performances from Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin and Martin Sheen.
