In 2011, Martin Scorcese wrote a love letter. Not to a woman, but to film and the pioneers of the craft. He paid trubute to the film maker Georges Méliès by adapting the award winning novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret.

A family friendly, Oscar winning movie that tells a timeless tale of a boy with an automaton and a dream. 

This movie seeks to capture the spirit of why we go to the movies, what we seek, and what gives our lives meaning. 

Or.. it's a harmless diversion about a real Hollywood ending. :)
