"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen."- 1 John 4:20.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."- Romans 12:18.
"If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee."- Proverbs 25:21-22.
Merciful Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, you tell us in Matthew 5 that, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy."
Abba Father, we cry out to you as humbly as we know to: asking for your divine help and strength when responding to our brothers and sisters- your children.
Your Holy Words found in 1 Corinthians 13 says that love keeps no record of wrongs, is kind, patient, and so much more wonderful;
may we truly realize your standard of love and not allow our emotions to guide our actions, and thoughts.
"Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come...
There will always be temptations to sin...
It is impossible but that offences will come..."- Luke 17:1.
We rest in and on your Holy Word;
We are quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry: James 1:19.
Jesus, we thank you for showing us that mercy is best;
even on calvary you asked God to forgive us.
"... a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."- Proverbs 24:16.
God Almighty, make haste to help us- we stand on Psalm 70.
We thank you for our Good Days: Esther 9:22.
We repent of our sin.
We receive your unconditional love and forgiveness.
Jesus is the Lord.
Amen.
