Why are we so much more excited about the horror genre these days? From “Get Out” to “Hereditary” and “A Quiet Place”, we chat about the new wave, “elevated horror” (not coined by us) and how it’s changed the horror genre. We also tie it in back to our last episode’s discussion about comedy and horror, and how although less “scary” aesthetically speaking (and therefore perhaps more accessible), these movies might not be as accessible to as wide of an audience as we might think.
