As of this upload the Seattle Kraken have completed the final expansion payment and are now OFFICIALLY the 32nd franchise in the NHL. This allows them as of the final payment to trade and sign players. Having said that;

This week we dive into the depths of the expansion draft and the details surrounding it as we inch closer to the expansion draft in July. There are a lot of moving pieces; Protection lists, NMC's, side deals, flat salary cap, etc.
