Previous Episode: Joe Torry

Have you had or do you have obstacles to overcome?

How and the heck can you get past this thing that seems like it has changed the direction of your life?

It seems like a futile situation because it’s out of your control.

Well guess what; the only thing we can control is our own alignment.

Controlling your own alignment starts as soon as you wake up. You have to be intentional about the type of day you want to have, and focus yourself into feeling good so that energy and momentum can carry you throughout the day.

On today’s episode of Waking Up Right with Ivory, I talk with an extraordinary young lady who is one of the brightest new stars in the WNBA.

Jordin Canada is an American professional women’s basketball player with the Seattle Storm of the WNBA. As a rookie, she won her first WNBA championship. This past season in 29019, she led the WNBA in steals and was chosen to the WNBA All-Defensive First Team. Although her career is impressive; it’s ‘the who’ she is that makes her special. So get ready to be inspired, and get inside the mind and heart of a successful, beautiful, talented young lady.

Some Questions I ask:

What are some tools that you use to grow Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually?

What do you do to get “in the zone” before a basketball game?

What is your ultimate failure? What did you learn from it?

What are some of your daily routines when you first wake up?

Did you always know you wanted to become a professional basketball player?

Who has been some of the people who have inspired you on the basketball court?

How is playing with one of your idols Sue Bird?
