Kara Connolly has it all - charisma, a commanding stage presence, an emotive voice, and that rare gift for writing songs that are simultaneously heartfelt, sincere and undeniably infectious upon first listen. Given her ability to connect with an audience, it’s no surprise that Kara sold- out the iconic Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, the very venue that Katy Perry and Sara Bareilles got their start, before ever having released a single song. And now with her full-length album, Life in Rear View, released, Kara is beginning to reach an audience as universal as her songs themselves.

Connolly’s debut music video for the title track has garnered over 200K views thus far and her record, a unique, genre-bending blend of storytelling, percussive instrumentation, and pop hooks, has received high praise in a variety of tastemaker publications such as The Line of Best Fit, Hollywood Life, Popdust, and Parade Magazine. Considered a journey from breakdown to breakthrough, Life in Rear View begins with heartbreak and ends in triumph as Kara reminds us, through personal experience, the importance of friendship, vulnerability, acknowledging our self-worth, and never settling for less than the love and respect we deserve.

As an artist, she’s, most recently, packed The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood and performed on KUSI News Good Morning San Diego. As a songwriter, she's written songs that have topped Spotify Fresh Finds lists and Kara's supporters (or Karakeets as they have so proudly claimed their fandom) continue to connect with Kara for her empowering originals and sincere, engaging personality.

Kara’s upbeat and colorful take on modern feminism, produced by Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson) and mastered at the legendary Capitol Records, is out now.
