Just last week, the U.S. nearly lost its measles-elimination status due to an outbreak in New York. And even here at home, we’re experiencing an uptick in the vaccine-preventable disease. So far this year, there have been 112 cases of measles, according to the latest Health Canada report, compared to only 29 cases in 2018.
