acknowledge it is normal to care what others think and we all seek approval of others 

+ when you feel judged by others or say you have made up stories in your head about what others think of you -- ask yourself 

"Do I know this is 100% true?" 

if the answer is no -- which It probably is -- stop your own judgement of others 

-prevent + set boundaries with seeking out self-approval  from others

-nobody at your level or above you will ever criticize you

-put up boundaries for yourself 

-what happens within you is in your control - take ownership

-go inward  vs outward 

-material things aren't important 

-find a group find friends that do not not focus on money, fame, beauty or followers- there are important things to value in this world like: those who volunteer, humility, gratitude, mindfulness +  self-love - and support 

-be honest and be real -- you'll have nothing to worry about + you won't give a shit what others think
