Reorientation to the Center. This episode, Mike and Tim read an email asking about how to approach 'Church discipline.' Mike takes us on a journey through the 'centered' approach and how 'Church discipline' should look more like a reorientation to the center. Tim asks questions about the church model and how it is built to set up Pastors for failure. How can we better change the model? How can the chasm or wall built between the public and private self be dismantled so that Pastors can share vulnerability and struggle more openly? How does the performative nature of Church feed this? How does capitalism??
