Interview with M’Lisa Ellis and Royal Ellis

M’Lisa Ellis is an Utah Licensed Master Esthetician, California Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Instructor, Certified Lash Technician, and Professional Makeup Artist. She started in the service industry as a makeup artist in 2008 and graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in South Jordan, Utah in 2012 after completing the 1200-hour Master Esthetics Program. M’Lisa also graduated from Brigham Young University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts Studies with an emphasis in Makeup Design. Throughout her career, she has worked at one of the largest medical spa chains in the country, owned and operated her own spa studio, and had the opportunity to teach at NIMA, BYU, and at her former studio in Salt Lake City, UT. 

Royal Ellis was a Police Officer in the city of Los Angeles for 5 years. He is an expert in working and engaging with the public, observation, policies and procedures, documentation, handling negotiators, and enforcing boundaries while maintaining a positive public image. These skills have translated into vital information for service professionals that result in increased sales, higher quality clients, and improved business structure.
