In this episode of the speaker series, the Voiz students (Carrie Kim, Iman Ismail) are joined by Denise Hearn, co-author of the book “The Myth of Capitalism” and senior fellow of the American Economic Liberties Project. Together, we discuss the way that monopolies developed in America, the impacts they have, and different perspectives that we can view these monopolies from. Is capitalism something that can be reformed or something that needs to be torn down? How can we categorize our societies battling beliefs in how our world should be run?
