This week on the Voicing Startups podcast I am talking with Josh, CPO of what3words. what3words is a simple way to talk about location. The what3words team has made the entire world a grid of 3 meter squares that each have a unique 3 word address that will never change. For example, ///filled.count.soap marks the exact entrance to what3words’ London headquarters. The benefit is that 3 word addresses are easy to say and share, and are as accurate as GPS coordinates. People are using what3words for everything from finding a tent at a festival to properly directing emergency services.

To start off this episode, Josh gives his background and the origin story of how what3words became a business. We then dive right into the product, the main problem it solves, and the key value proposition. what3words is further on in their journey than most of the other companies I have had on this show, so we spend time talking about the company history and how they got to where they are today. To wrap up the show, we chat about where we can expect to see the business go in the years ahead. I hope you enjoy this week's episode of Voicing Startups!
