Serge the Superman: A Russian Novel
By Stephen Leacock

Presented by The Online Stage

It was inevitable that Canadian humourist Stephen Leacock would turn his critical attention to the Russian novel, a genre that became extremely popular early in the Twentieth Century. In the introduction he writes: "We may say with certainty that Serge the Superman is the most distinctly Russian thing produced in years. It is the directest, tersest, crudest thing we have ever seen."

Narration by Shirley Savage.
