What is Voices from the Streets

Voices from the Streets is an investigative podcast, bringing you raw interviews with everyday protesters and leaders of the Black Lives Matter and civil rights movement sweeping across our nation.

Your hosts Chris Webb and Brittany “NO FOMO” Hallberg travel across the country, talking to people on the frontlines and documenting individual’s experiences in local marches and what motivates them to bring change to their local communities.  

Each episode captures a well-rounded perspective of life on the ground of the movement by speaking to as many protesters and leaders in every city as possible. Episodes reference leaders’ speeches, local and national news, and eye-witness accounts to bring you the most detailed picture we can.
