Title: Achieving Socio-political Peace: dealing with racism and unconscious bias

Synopsis: This week the Pathway to Peace team will be looking at the current racial tensions within the UK following the increase of Black Lives Matter protests. As Prime Minister Boris Johnson talks about setting up a Commission for Racial Inequality, the panel will be examining racism in the UK, within communities and unconscious biases.
The panel will then be addressing possible solutions in dealing with the root causes of racism, by finding guidance on how Islam stopped such ugly practices over a millennium ago when it united people from all backgrounds.
