Title: Racial Equality: wiping away the tears of injustice

Synopsis: This week the Pathway to Peace team will be looking at the reactions to what has transpired after the killing of a black man, George Floyd, by police in Minnesota, USA. A general history of prejudice and racism is also examined, trying to understand and its origins. The panel will then look at possible solutions to racism, finding guidance on how Islam stopped such ugly notions over a millennium ago and what practical advice has the Khalifa of Islam, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, given to remedy the unfortunate situation society finds itself in.
