Join Sammar Sheikh and Tahir Ahmad for Thursday's show where we will be discussing: Teens/Fascism

Teens: Invest in their mental health
According to Teen Mental Health, “1 in 5 young people suffer from a mental illness, yet only about 4 percent of the total health care budget is spent on our mental health”.

Join us LIVE from 4pm as we discuss growing concerns around mental health problems especially affecting teenagers aged 11 to15.

Fascism: Existence Beyond History?
The Nazi Regime and Mussolini’s Italy are namely the most prominent examples of fascist regimes in modern history, yet historians have failed to agree on a universal definition for fascism. Even today, some countries and world leaders are labelled as fascist without really defining what they mean by a fascist leader or government.

Join us LIVE from 5pm as we discuss why fascism is not a suitable concept of government according to the teachings of Islam.

Guests include;

Andy Bell (Deputy Chief Executive for the Centre for Mental Health)

Dr Chris Millington (Historian of Modern France and Violence, Senior Lecturer in Modern European History at Manchester Metropolitan University)

Dr Anthony Williams (Lecturer in Political Theory and Political Ideologies at the Manchester Metropolitan University)

Marta Kotwas (PhD Student & Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL School of Slavonic And East and European Studies)
