Join Salman Qamar for Thursday’s show from 4-6pm where we will be discussing: 'Cancer Risk' and 'Generational Gap’

Cancer Risk
With greater awareness of signs and symptoms and better access to healthcare, the likelihood of death by cancer has reduced over the years. Nevertheless, the risk remains  and varies exponentially across various regions in the UK. Join us as we discuss what leads to these inequalities and how to effectively address them.

Generational Gap
There's a notable generational gap in opinions regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict. Generation Z, as evidenced by their widespread participation in protests and student strikes across the globe, seems to be taking a particularly strong stance against what they perceive as the Israeli occupation of Palestinian  territories. This contrasts with older generations, who may have views shaped by historical contexts. Younger generations, influenced by a mix of modern media, evolving international norms, and a heightened focus on human rights and social justice, are increasingly vocal in condemning actions they see as oppressive. Join us as we discuss the generational gap in opinions on the Israel-Palestine conflict, reflecting the diverse and evolving perspectives on this longstanding conflict.
