Proroguing Parliament- Britain facing a constitutional crisis?
They say a week is a long time in politics, but in a Brexit centric world sometimes even a day is long. Within a matter of hours Prime Minister Boris Johnson proposed suspending parliament to push through No-Deal Brexit, a controversial move which was approved by the Head of state, the Queen. Members of the opposition and even MP's have declared this move an affront to democracy and have vowed to fight against suspension of Parliament. With Brexit deadline only a few weeks away, will their efforts be in vain. Or is this the only way to deliver the democratic choice of the British Public, i.e. Brexit?
